Information on the Puggle Breed of Dog

Where does your Puggle Sleep?

If you own a Puggle, you are probably well aware that they like to cuddle. With that being said, where does your Puggle sleep at night? This is a decision that you will have to make for your dog in many cases. Of course, you want to make sure that your Puggle is comfortable with whatever you decide on.

First things first, when your Puggle is a puppy and is not yet housetrained, you need to make sure that it is sleeping in a crate. This will help to ensure that your dog does not have any accidents at night. Make sure that your Puggle’s crate is not too big. If it is, it may use one side of the crate to relieve itself and the other to sleep.

Once your Puggle is housetrained, you have a few options for deciding on where it will sleep. Many Puggle owners feel that continuing with the crate at night is the best option. If you do not agree with this, you have a couple of other options.

You may want to let your Puggle crawl into bed with you at night. Being that this breed will not get much bigger than 30 pounds, you should not have any problems getting along with your Puggle in bed at night.

On the other hand, you may want to let your Puggle roam free at night. If you do this, it may find a comfortable spot on the floor or decide to hop up on the couch. As long as you are okay with your Puggle roaming free, there is nothing wrong with this way of doing things at night.

As a puppy, it is easy to decide where your Puggle will sleep. But when your dog gets housetrained, this decision is not quite as simple.
