Puggle Exercise: How to Proceed
If you own a Puggle, or are thinking about buying, you need to know how to exercise this breed. Luckily, they do not require anything special. If you are willing to put in the time, you will be able to exercise your Puggle just like any other dog. With that being said, there are some tips that you can follow.
First and foremost, keep in mind that the Puggle does have some Beagle blood. This means that this breed likes to get out and run at times. This is not to say that the Puggle is a hunting dog, because it isn’t, but the breed does require a decent amount of exercise.
The best way to exercise your Puggle is when you are exercising yourself. If you like to take walks, make sure that you take your dog along with you. This will go a long way in ensuring that it gets plenty of exercise.
If you have the urge, find a large, open field in your area and take your Puggle there to exercise. This works out to your advantage because you can let your dog run loose without having to worry. Of course, you need to make sure that its safety is in check at all times. You do not want to choose an open area that is close to any points of danger such as a roadway, wooded areas, etc.
Finally, you can exercise your Puggle inside your home simply by playing with it. Buy a few toys, such as a “tug of war” rope, and take things from there. It is especially important for those living in colder climates to learn how to exercise their dog indoors.
All in all, Puggle exercise is very important. If you are willing to put in the time, this should never be a problem for you or your dog.
