Grooming your Puggle at Home
One of the biggest benefits of owning a Puggle is that you do not have to get its hair clipped. In other words, the Puggle sheds its coat as opposed to needing it cut. While this means that you will have to pick up small dog hairs from time to time, for many, this is better than having to go to a groomer for a cut.
Are you interested in grooming your Puggle at home? If so, this is more than possible. Believe it or not, there are not too many details that go into this. The first thing to know about grooming your Puggle is that you can brush your dog every so often as a way of removing dead hairs before they reach the floor or your furniture. If you do this a couple of times per week you will be ahead of the game.
Additionally, it does not take a professional to learn how to bathe a Puggle. As long as you have a tub with warm water, shampoo, and a towel, you will not have any problems bathing your Puggle at home.
Much like a bath, cutting your Puggle’s nails is something that you can learn as well. You can purchase a pair of nail clippers at the local pet store, and take things from there. One thing to remember is that you do not want to cut your Puggle’s nails too close. If you do, they will bleed; just like any other breed of dog.
With the proper knowledge and tools, grooming your Puggle at home is more than possible.
