The Perfect Crate for your Puggle

If you are going to purchase a Puggle, it is very important that you have a crate on hand at all times. Although you do not necessarily need a crate, it will definitely make things easier on you. With that being said, you need to find out what crate would be best for your Puggle. Remember, there are quite a few of these on the market. If you purchase just any crate, you are not going to get what is best for your puppy.

First things first, you need to make sure that the crate is not too big. If it is, your Puggle will be able to use one side to go to the bathroom, and the other side to sleep. Since dogs do not like to relieve themselves where they sleep, a smaller crate will work to your advantage.

Keep in mind that you may have to buy a new crate as your Puggle gets bigger. A Puggle puppy is probably going to only weigh a couple of pounds. But by the time that it is full grown, it will weigh up to 30. Obviously, as your Puggle grows you will need to upgrade to a bigger crate if you plan to continue with this method of training and sleeping.

To find the best Puggle crate, head to your local pet store. You should be able to find one that fits the current size of your dog. As your Puggle gets bigger, make sure that you consider when it is time to upgrade.
