Supplies for your Puggle
Before you bring home your Puggle puppy, you need to make sure that you have all of the proper supplies. This is not to say that you need to spend hundreds of dollars, but you definitely need the essentials. After all, your Puggle is going to rely on you to give it what it needs to stay happy and healthy.
The question is: which Puggle supplies are most important? While there are some that you can buy as your dog gets older, many of them are necessary from day one. It is always much easier to have the proper supplies on hand when you bring your Puggle home from the breeder. This sure beats having to tote your new puppy to the pet store with you.
One of the most important Puggle supplies is a crate. Make sure that you not only buy one that is sturdy and secure, but one that gives your dog enough room. You do not want the crate to be too large, but keep in mind that your Puggle will grow. It is much better to opt for a little bit of growing room than to purchase a new crate every few months.
You also want to make sure that you buy supplies that your dog will enjoy. This includes everything from squeak toys to bones and treats. Of course, you also need to have a big bag of dog food on hand. This is one thing that you may want to hold off on until you talk to the breeder. The reason for this is that you want to keep your Puggle eating the same type of food for the first few months.
All in all, there are many stores at which you can purchase Puggle supplies. If you do not have a pet store in your town, you can always buy what you need online. No matter where you shop, make sure that you have all the Puggle supplies that you need.
